Zygorhiza {experimental chaos-driven Lyra-8 / Eurorack patch} (October 9, 2022) {Zoom Q8 1080 HD}

An experiment in patching Lyra-8 with a Eurorack system. The starting point comprises a clock triggering envelopes that are in turn modulating Ornament & Crime Plus in Low-rents mode. The OCP serves as a chaotic function generator, the signals of which are attenuated by the Sweet Sixteen, the output of which is routed to a fp.STrig V-trig to S-trig converter. The S-trigs are triggering Lyra-8 via the alligator pin-to-touch-plate adapter.

The second signal path consists of samples of the Lyra-8 recorded previously into the Assimil8or, triggered and modulated by the Clank Chaos and the Vegan Squid Axon shift register.

The third signal path is routed through the ECR+ convolution reverb, modulated by a chain of LFOs that are being attenuated by a Lapsus Os.

All of the signal paths are finally mixed in the Black Stereo Mixer.

Audio post-processing consists of normalization, light compression and equalization.
