The Vermona PerFourMer mkII is a quadruple-oscillator analog synthesizer. In this performance, I am using the PerFourMer in M1 mode, which leverages the four oscillators, with each voice playing monophonically but combined in unison. The PerFourMer has CV inputs that are modulated by the Erica Synths Black Sequencer (offscreen).

Preparation: The Aeros Loop Studio features six parallel tracks for stereo loops and crucially can be set to record and play back unquantized. Recording unquantized loops of varying lengths, initially with silence and then overdubbing the tracks, enables truly seamless loops that also phase in and out with each other. The result is an ever-evolving piece in which the component loops avoid strict repetition.

Performance: After preparing six loops from the PerFourMer into the Aeros Loop Studio, which is documented in three Instagram posts (www.instagram.com/tv/CRlg43Cjlx0/, www.instagram.com/tv/CRljFfKjjlY/, www.instagram.com/tv/CRlkpCvj7oA/), I layer the PerFourMer in real time in conjunction with the prepared loops using the H1020 mixer.
